Countdown clock to the 2010 Winter Olympics

Today is FRIDAY already. We were going to do so much this week, and its over. Oh well, good job we will still be in the area next week. Today we went to the Heritage Centre. in Chilliwack, where there was an Irish Wolfhound Dog show taking place. We stayed for just under an hour, and watched some of the competitions. Not really my thing, I would rather watch working dog competitions than see which dog is the "prettiest" type show. We left there and took a drive into Abbottsford. Jane wanted to go to "The Bay", so that's where we went. We also had a portion each of New York Fries. We both love them, but we can only get them in Canada, yum yum.
Tuesday last we went into Vancouver. Probably one of Jane and mines favourite cities in North America. We don't love that many cities. We did a tour of Stanley Park, went to the markets on Granville Island, and visited the Gastown area. We chose to go the only day this week that it rained, so we didn't do as much walking around as we would have liked. Of course when we left the campground it was blue skies, so neither of us was dressed for bad weather. Maybe we will get chance to go again in the coming weeks.
Not done much else this week. We both finished reading a book each, I've done some minor repairs in the RV, Jane's done some beading, sewing and finished her diamond willow walking sticks. Oh what busy lives we lead.......
