Christmas in our new home.

 We had a lazy day Christmas day as it rained most of the day, so the visit to the beach had to wait till Boxing Day. Miss Molly loved her new toy. 





  

So much sand to brush out of Molly when we got home ..........

She so loves the water, this is me telling her not to go in !!!

Jim worked hard cutting the Pine trees back, lots of wood for the wood burner.

Molly runs so close to the edge, she scares me to death that she might

fall in, especially when she is on her own, as I don't think she would

be able to get out on her own.                                                          

 

Spent the last few days gardening, I hope the orange tree survives.

We may have to get a man in to trim the palm tree, a bit high for us.

We have some huge cactus plants in the garden. No idea what they are called,

A busy day

We had a busy day today, bank stuff, market, back home to cut wood and sort the garage out I tried to do a bit more on my large quilt. Made curtains for snug. Took Miss Molly for a walk in the woods at the back of the house, went to the carol concert in Torrevieja and went to super market on the way home. Phew!!!

Two weeks in our new home.

We have been in our new home for 2 weeks now, all the boxes are unpacked but not necessary in the right room or cupboard.  

I spent a very nice morning in part of the garden today, one of the palm trees lost its life over the summer.

After 2 hours. 

This is my sewing room.

We went and got a car load of fire wood today.

This wood burner keeps us warm at night.

I took this at 8am from our bed this morning, that is the Mediterranean sea with the sun rising over it.  

This is part of the hallway, and we have made it into a little sitting area.
