A night at the Bar.

We dont know the words but that never stops us singing. I think Lynn was in shock..... she had never heard my voice before !!!!

He certainly sang with passion

We had a night of Flamenco music in the bar last weekend, just one man and his guitar. We thought he was pretty good, and of course he got better as the copious amounts of brandy were consumed. We did a short video of him, see what you think.

A few days ago, the propane gas regulator quit on us, and so we had no gas heating or cooking. Thankfully, we do have an electric alternative, but of course we have no alternative for the gas hob. I tried in vain to get a replacement here in Spain, but could not find the the correct model. As a last resort, I sent an e mail to the dealer we bought the caravan from asking for help. Without hesitation, the same day, I got a reply, asking for our postal address, so that they could send us the replacement. It arrived today, I have it fitted, and all is now back to normal in the "Brits on Tour" household. So a great big "THANK YOU" to Mark, of Broad Lane Leisure, Alcester, Worcestershire. I will always recommend them for motorhomes/caravans and accessories.

Mojacar

This is the symbol you will see all over Almeria, on home's, car stickers and jewellery.

After a nice cup of coffee and a few extras, we went up to the Mojacar Pueblo (Village) but as there was a lot of rebuilding work going on, most of the small shop's were closed. But the view was worth the climb up. It was Will & Lyn's first visit to Mojacar.

The view....
YES, cars do go up and down these streets.........
I love this house, would love to have a look round inside.

The beach in January, "life is good"

I spent an hour or so with my metal detector, then we went for a walk.

The blue of the Med always looks so good.
The bird were drying their wings in the warm breeze.
Most of the island (roundabout) have a sculpture in them, I will try and get a few more pics. This one was in Orihuela
