I Have finally done some checking on fuel

purchase and costs since we left Florida last May.

We have spent $3081.91 US (Canadian purchases converted to US $ as at Sept 19th)on diesel fuel, which bought us 1047.34 gallons. From the first fill up in Fountain, Louisiana, to the last in Williams Lake, BC, we travelled 8944 miles.

This means we returned an average of 8.53mpg.

We spent an average $2.94 per gallon. (Not a true figure as Richard gave us about 300 ltrs when we left Irma. Forgot to make a record of this) also, this does not take into account the many hours the diesel powered generator was in use, and of course using diesel fuel.
