Friday already, another week almost over. After Mondays "Big Day Out" in Whistler, we have had a fairly quiet few days, spent mainly around the campground. Thursday we went to Mission for a good part of the day, stopping off at Home Depot, Abbottsford in order to exchange an item I bought last week that turned out to be faulty. We then went to the Tradex Exhibition Hall, next to Abbottsford Airport, where there was an RV show on. If you went after 5pm, they let you both in for 6 bucks. Better than the 8 dollars each normal price. We spent about two hours there, not as big as the Tampa show but quite good all the same.
We had planned on staying home Friday, as Mark and Chris had arranged for their 'Data Storm' Internet to be installed on their coach. We have the keys to their RV, and wanted to be around in case the installer needed anything. Unfortunately we got an e mail from said installer early this afternoon, saying he had missed his flight from Toronto, and would not now be arriving until Saturday morning.
Also today, as I was checking on a few things underneath our RV, I noticed water dripping from a place there should be no water. Not a good sign. Further investigation showed up a water leak from a feed pipe to the hot water heater/tank under the kitchen sink. "Pinto" the maintenance man here at Cultus Lake, came to look. He thinks the pipe joining the tank has split. Consensus opinion is patch it up, and get it into an RV dealer when we leave next week for a more permanent repair. So that's what we have done. Just have to remember to turn the water off at the mains outside, when we go out and when we go to bed.....just in case.
