Just to catch up a little;
If you have been following the Blog for a few years, you will remember 'Chilli", he is the horse that had a nasty cut on his leg in 2005 when we first stayed on the farm in Irma. I had the job of looking after him, and cleaning the cut daily. This led to the friendship we still have today. He was so proud to show me his family. And still looked in my pocket for treats and to give me a Kiss, you may remember the kiss from the 2005 blog post. (see below) It amazes me every year when we get to the farm, he comes running over to me and makes such a fuss. I was told more than once, "Jane, he is a working horse, not a show horse" but he did like having his mane braided.
