A Little Update
We have a site meter attached to our blog, and have had for some years. It counts our visitors, and tells us where they are when viewing our blog. However, we seldom look at it in any great detail. This week though, I was looking at how many visitors we have had, and what part of the world they are in when they visit. As one would expect, most are from the UK, US/Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand, and even South Africa. Some we know and some we don't, but just now and again one pops up that surprises us, like the visitor we had recently from Saudi Arabia. I am pretty sure we don't know anyone from that part of the world, but whilst we welcome anyone who visits us on our blog, I would like to say a special "Hi" to whoever that may be. Please feel free to leave any comments you may have. Of course that applies to anyone who visits our blog. All are welcome. . On a different note, our regular readers will have noted we have been a little quiet recently on the blog front. I guess that is because we have not got up to much of any note just lately. We have of course been seeing a lot of our family and friends, and enjoying the grand children. We had Georgina and Dans three stay with us while they went to a concert in London last weekend, involving an overnight stay for them. That was great fun for us, (and hopefully for them) though I will admit to feeling a tad exhausted when they left. They do keep you feeling young though, that's for sure. . We are also getting excited for the the arrival of the first of our visitors from across the pond. Our friends Chris and Mark arrive later this month from Canada. We haven't seen them since we left California for Florida in January last year, so loads of catching up to do. Have a safe trip you two, cant wait to see you at Manchester airport. . Jane's been doing more shifts than perhaps she wanted to at the care home, but they are so short staffed, they keep calling her to come and help. Those of you that know her. know she wont refuse someone her help. . Jim now has a week or so to himself, as our friends Stewart and Fiona have returned to their home in Portugal, and his help on their house refurb in Solihull is put on hold until Stewart's return. . I suppose about now most of our "Snow Birding" R.V. friends will be heading north for their summer homes. Have a safe and pleasant trip everyone. I trust your winter went well, whether you were in Florida, California or any other warmer part of the world. . Its warming up here at last, we had 18c yesterday, (68'ish F) Not bad at all. Stay safe everyone, and have fun.
