Many centuries of history have passed through Lorca castle. Many settlers have taken advantage of its excellent situation as a lookout post over the city.
The hill dates back to Prehistoric times. From the 8th century onwards Alcazada de Lurqa, the Islamic name of the city, would become an important military bastion.
The look out, lets hope were not invaded.

This is a pomegranate tree. The word Granada means Pomegranate in Spanish.
I found a man “fossiling BUT they had him locked in a glass box. Jim said that’s where I should be. Only have a few rocks so far.
