A day in Barcelona

We started the day in true fashion, coffee and donuts at D.D.
Not Timmy's or StarBucks, but still very good. We decided to
jump on a tour bus, and got to see so much more than if we
toured on our own. Hope you like the few photos I have
down loaded on to the blog. Just a small taste of wonderful
Barcelona. Jims favorite city.

Room for three on this pedal cycle !!!!

The architecture is stunningly beautiful

Maybe this is why Barcelona is Jims Favorite city...lol

I loved this painting.

A whole new meaning to "get the washing in"

Many of the buildings have this type of designs on them

Sagrada Familia (above and below)

This is the most popular of Antoni Gaudi's work. He devoted
himself exclusively to the project until his death in 1926.
it is still under construction. When finnished, the six towers
will make it the tallest building in Barcelona. The cost is being
met by volunteers.

More amazing architecture

This ones for the "boys" xx

An Up side down elephant. Not sure what this
was all about.

The one in the middle is real, and jumps out at
unsuspecting tourists.

More fun on La Rambla

Me. On our way back to the car park.
One long and enjoyable day.
We reach our final destination, Aguillas,
tomorrow.

Jim and Jane, We loved the pictures.
Most of all, we love hearing from you two. You are very special to us. We miss you and are very happy for you.
We are still clowning around. We just finished our trip to Clownfest 2010 in Seaside Hts., NJ. We were involved on the Boardwalk for two days. Our pictures appeared in the Star-Ledger
taken by Matt Rainey a Pulitzer Prize
Photographer. We can't show the pics on our blog.
