Brits on Tour (In Spain)

This was our site at Chatfield State Park, just outside Denver. Jim said Denver was probably his favourite city so far.

Inside we went on the tour, and found it very interesting. They were getting ready for a big quilting exhibition. I wish my friend Trudy was with me, she would have loved it



They were hanging the quilts on the walls while we were there.




We both thought, Denver's State Capitol was second only to the
the one in Harrisburgh, PA.







Denver is known as the "Mile High City"
Jim is sitting on the step that is marked as
5280 ft. (1 Mile) above sea level.



The City had all kinds of crazy art displayed , like this painted
cow. They also had a huge 'Blue Bear', about 4 storys high outside
the Art Museum.

"Hey look at me, I can use two computers at the same time"



Time to move on.

As much as we would have liked to stay longerin Denver, it was time to move on.
We left on a very wet Tuesday morning, and it rained pretty well none stop until
we reached our overnight stop in Rawlings, WY.




We joined the Truckers at the Flying "J" in Rawlings for the night.


Next day we had some of the most spectacular scenary to date.

On our way to Yellowstone, and our scheduled stop at a camp ground just out of Cody.

We both kept pointing things out to each other, in case one of us
missed anything. There was just so much to see, even if the weather
was not fully coperative.
