I have just read our friend's Mark & Chris's blog, and it looks like we will both be moving on or around the same date. We hope to be in our new house, (and children free, lol) by the 25th July. The person buying our house has asked us if she may purchase our furniture. What luck, we were wondering what we were going to do with it. Now, instead of either giving it away, or junking it, we are being paid for it. One draw back to moving into our own house?, I will have to cook again, as the girls have looked after us so well.
This last week we went up to Macclesfield, near Manchester, to stay with my little sister Doreen, and her partner Tony for a few days. We went to see where she works, and had a look around some of the shop's,(things are so expensive here.) Tomorrow we are off to the ''Jewellery Quarter'', in Birmingham, ( Jewellers Shops UK - BIRMINGHAM JEWELLERY QUARTER - Gold Engagement Diamonds Rings Jewelery ) to collect some repairs we dropped off there last week, and on Sunday we are going on a charity ramble, then visiting friends and out for dinner. Its all go go go.
The schools here finish for the summer holidays, Tuesday July 22nd, until Wednesday 3rd September, about 6 weeks. Dan, our son-in-law, is really excited about not having to work for so long.

Chris and I were just commenting to each other that this move is like the Never Ending Story....Time is passing so slowly, but we are so busy getting everything sorted out before the movers show up on July 28th. Looking pretty barren here now. We start moving things to Chris's new pad this week! Good luck with your move. We'll certainly have lots of stories to share in Florida this winter.
